Every other type of business may be slow but the dam telemarketers have kicked it into high gear. I am getting 10-15 calls a day here at the store, nearly double what it was a month ago. I can't screen calls, I have to answer everytime the phone rings. It is so dam frustrating to hear a friggin machine tellin me how important the call is (if it was that dm important there would be a person on the line) or hear nothing because they are set up to only respond to answering manchines.

Can you put the biz on the "do not call"?

I get calls like that on my direct line at work now.
About every other day I get the automated "This is the second warning that your vehicle warranty is about to expire..."

We get them at work as well. What kind of telemarketer calls a business at 11PM?

Almost as bad is the automated dialer that Coeburn HS/MS/PS is using these days.

they cant call a home or business after 9pm local time where they are calling

My grandmother's husband who is in his 80s tells them he wants their home phone number so he can call them back. He asks them what time they eat dinner so he can call them and interrupt it. He uses a few ugly words, too. He comes up with the craziest things to say...even the people wanting donations for bogus charities, he really lets them have it...

I usually just hang up but it's still annoying.
